Hey guys. I've been a huge fan of Satriani's gain and when Vos finally released the Satchurator, it was like finally getting that tone without breaking the bank for his signature amp etc
To be honest in my opinion its the best distortion box i;ve ever played thru and like an extra channel in my amp (Hughes&Kettner Club reverb 65Watt SS)
does anyone own one and if they do, whats your opinion, I found it versatile enough to cover almost any genre. It closely nails Comfortable Numb's solo tome too!! O.o to my surprise
i owned a MIT DS-1 but this thing is far more versatile and amazing sounding....yea i know its based on that but for those who tried it out, heard it or have it, i wud like their opinion.
Its far superior sounding to the current DS-1. Honestly the ones matching it is the Keeley or Analogman DS-1 mods or MIJ DS-1
I had one. It's a modified DS-1 with a boost (More) that was completely useless to me. Also I didn't think the pedal had enough volume. It was kind of weak sounding to me.
