| Can I get the same basic sounds with the PH-1r, that I can get with the MXR Phase 90? Thanks for any info. |

Remember all Phase 90s are not equal. Apparently to get close to the classic sound you need an EVH Phase 90, which is more expensive than the regular Dunlop reissue. Or, of course, you could pay a fortune for an original script model, if you can find one.
Having said that, I just love my PH-1R... |

It is to bad that Boss discontinued the PH-1r. I am having a hard time finding one in good condition. |

Just got a PH-1r myself - 45 on Ebay, which is the going rate for a new Small Stone, and 20 less that a new Phase 90. Very impressed with it - it's a little more metallic sounding than the Small Stone I have, but it seems to cover a lot more ground. The rate and depth controls work over a really useful range and it's easy to get an interesting and usual sound out of it.
Loads of cheap and interesting Boss stuff about at the moment; picked up an OD-2 for 20, a CS-2 for 25. Very impressed with both of them... :) |

| I have both a PH1r and an old script MXR 90 and I prefer the PH1r. |
