A few lists on here, but what about the most underrated BOSS compact?
In my opinion, it's the PH-3.
Most of you prefer different phasers, BOSS or not. I don't think the PH-3 is the best phaser out there by any means, but IMO no other BOSS compact has such an undeserved bad reputation.

AW-3 or OC-3.
Great voicing control with the AW-3 & the OC-3's poly-mode helps it track "single" notes better than the OC-2 IMFO. |

EH-2
Great as a subtle boost, makes my leads 'clearer'. |

MD-2
Its a one trick pony
Half the sounds on it sound shit. but get dial in the right settings and they're is defiantly something sweet there |

I have to agree, EH-2 is a beautiful sounding pedal all by its own, not just to make a chain of pedals sound "fresher". |

AC-3 It's not as bad as the reviews say it is, just need to tweak it right, plus it comes with reverb! |

Most underrated? That'd be the LS-2, if you ask me. That pedal has 1001 uses, and does its job quietly without any glamour |

EH-2, LM-2, and a couple years ago I would have said the PQ-4 but now its (price) reputation is exceeding its worth. LS-2 is a great choice, very versatile. TU-2, RC-2 and MT-2 are a few more that come to mind.
But after the dust has settled I would have to put my money on the CE-2B. HIghly underrated considering it is basically a CE-2 with a level knob. An improvement on the CE-2 for less money? Sounds great and I'd like it to stay that way.

I'll vote on the CE-2b or the BF-2b... excellent for guitar.
I'd also say the PS-2 - the weakest of the series, but a huge array of features and sounds (if a bit glitchy, that's part of the charm). |

I agree with that. It's really a very useful pedal. |

SD-2 anyone?
I think it's a great pedal, but it doesn't seem to get mentioned enough... |
