This may or may not be a Boss question, but you're my go-to guys for obscure old effects.
What do you think Eddie Munoz (with the Strat) is using for his wobbly, woozy sound? It's more "out" than any chorus I've ever twiddled around with. At times it sounds more 12-string-ish than Peter Case's Rick. I almost think he has an octave-up pitch shift but this was 1983 - that was pretty fancy (not to mention expensive) technology back then, especially for a band than never really made it big.

One of the coolest bands ever. |

Sounds like Chorus with through a clean/just-breaking-up amp with some added reverb.
It might be a flanger set to do more chorusy stuff.
Some non-Boss Chorus pedals get quite radical... have a play about with an EHX PolyChorus. |

The Arion stereo chorus was also popular during the 80's and is known for giving a leslie type wobble to proceedings.... |

Dr. Scientist Cosmichorus, this may sound like blasphemy, but IMO it's better than any of the boss/roland choruses. Quite diverse, can copy just about any sound you're looking for, even some flanger sounds. Anyway...

I've been doing that for 25+ years. Yes it sounds wonderful, but it's not like the warped sound I'm hearing on the Plimsouls songs. |

Interesting.. I'll check their pedal sounds after work. Thanks for the link.
What do you mean: Boss area > < Me?

I recommend the TC Chorus flanger as well...
Got mine used for about $100, and it is on ALL the time when I need a "daydreaming" sound! I really enjoy it |
