I agree with pedals 4pv... guitars need to be played to 'loosen up' a lot of the high end acoustic makers have machines to 'shake' the guitar to age them by 20/25 years of playing.. james taylor and paul simon both have had this done to their instruments.... no disresepct to anyone but i don't really like the high end stuff too much,it looks a bit to delicate for my tastes and practical needs...i don't bring the yamaha SG2000S out much anymore 'cause it fell and broke the toggle switch a while back and on a les paul type of guitar it's not easy to fix like a fender...not as much room to work... also these type of guitars don't look good with a few dings and pings on them.. the only one of these to 'float my boat' was the PRS macarty model a few years ago also their goldtop with P90's was nice as well but for all round versitility it's hard to beat fenders.....just my two cents.... |

I totally agree with you on that one, but for a couple reasons. If its too expensive, I will always be worried about damaging it while playing, and not fully concetrating on or enjoying the playing experience. Plus after getting 5 great guitars, the most expensive being $350, I just cannot see paying anything more than that for a guitar ever again. |

No, not yet unfortunately. But I have been informed by the seller that it ships out tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have it no later than the middle of the week. |

Ok, it's really 8 but the Traveller doesn't fit on the guitar stand so I've decided it doesn't count. 
I "accidently" bought myself a Tele Thinline and my rule about not having more guitars than I can fit on the guitar stand is completely out the window. Maybe I should buy another stand...

Two questions...
1. Is that Aria as nice as I think it is?
2. What on earth is that wobbly one in the front centre? Did you leave it next to the radiator?

Hey my new sofa - serious bachelor stuff - head rests that raise like car seat head rests and (this is the best bit) the centre section folds down and there are two cup holders for when you're watching a DVD. Nice. |

The Aria is very nice but also very heavy. Probably the heaviest of the lot. The pickups are unfortunately not stock. I bought it with one original pickup MMK53 and one active EMG and replaced them with a DiMarzio Air Classic (neck) and Air Norton (bridge). If I come across another MMK53, I'll probably put it back to original specs.
The wobbly one is the Washburn A20. It's their idea of a 10 top in the early 80s. I love the shape of it but the neck profile is horrible so I don't play it much. |

Wow Bossrea, that's a nice collection you've got going there. I espacialy like the ibanez JEM 77FP. It is beautiful. Too bad they have to make it with that frigin monkey grip, which totally ruins the aesthetics.  |
