I could have swore I saw a table listing all the compact pedals and what the current draw is for each pedal.

Perhaps I'm just thinking of the main page with all the individual pedals and their specs but I swear what I saw was in table from.

help?

Stinkfoot put together a comprehensive list on his site. That might be the one you saw.

Yeah... there is a table someone did that lists the specified current and the actual measured current. I have a copy on my home computer - I'll dig it out after work.

Wow thanks for the link. I've been thinking about making the very same chart. Glad someone else did it for me.

Do pedals have a different current draw when they are activated or is it constant whether it's on or off?

Boss pedals are relatively constant. The electronics are energised as soon as you plug in a lead. Just add the LED current when its on.

Thanks!

It was the one on Stinkfoot's site that I had seen. But that pdf file with both Stated and Measured current draw data (that Defrag posted a link to) was excellent! Greatly appreciated.

I think they do use power and it is probably the same. cause if you use a daisy chain and unplug it. it has no sound. the buffers need power.all boss pedals have buffers

All the electronics in a Boss pedal is energised (consuming power) when the pedal is turned on by plugging in the lead.

Plug in lead - everything gets powered up.
Hit foot switch - change internal signal path from by-pass path to effected path, plus turn on LED
