So I picked up an EH-2 the other day. I've fooled around with it a little, and am wondering exactly what it's proper place is in the chain.
I gather that most people place it as the last pedal in a run in order to replace any frequencies sucked away by other pedals.
Would be interested to hear any tips, suggestions, folklore regarding this machine.
Thanks -- Disco Stu |

| from what I understand they are sort of like a BBE maximizer...in a way...so going by that i'd say try that baby in your efx loop...or last in your chain |

Thanks guys! I had tried the search function, but it does not seem to work so well for me. The sort function, though, turned up lots of EH-2 topics. Now I've read several years' worth of EH-2 posts and, can rest easy knowing I got a great deal on the thing.

| Look at it as an envelope follower, so place it before doublers like flangers, chorus and delays |

I played around with it last night , Tele -> CS-3 -> SD-1 -> EH-2 -> amp.
Doesn't change the sound much with the CS-3 on and SD-1 off. Adds some nice nuances to the SD-1, with or without the CS-3 on.
I'll try it before a chorus and flanger.
