Hi, Dr. Bob! What do you exactly mean greater functionality? I thought the RC-20XL was the god of them all. I think even with the FS-6 the RC-2 won't have that long playback you can get with the XL, so what are those functionalities you talk about? |

If you buy/build the dual footswitch, you can switch phrases with the footswitch, while playing.
The RC-20(XL) & the RC-2 both have the same recording time (16 min).
I think the RC-2 has more drumpatterns than the RC-20(XL). I don't know whether you can switch phrases with the RC-20(XL).

wow, this pedal is better than I thought, maybe when I have eeeeeverything I need (some pedals and a good amp) I will buy one to use it at home, practice and write. |

maybe, i have never tried. the RC-2 is packed with hidden features, Boss unleashed a monster with this pedal. people who have had it since 2006 are probably still figuring this one out... heck, maybe Boss is still trying to fully figure this out!! lol |
