I was wondering how long the knob type I (according to the Boss Book) was used on Boss pedals? I mean the big knobs on for example OD-1 with a screw fastening. I know these where used on early plastic battery-screw-pedals, but for how long? One thing I have noticed, due to a broken screw-knob, is that at least the early screw ones was rather brittle compared to the later non-screws.
