| I can't wait to get a PolyTune. All I have to do is wait for my circa-1985 TU-12H to die. |

Polytune has:
- Build Quality (Unlike the Korg Pitchblack) - Accuracy (More than the Boss TU-2/Tu-3) - True Bypass (Unlike the Boss compacts) - Ultra Birght LED (Unlike any of the others) - Can Power other pedals (like the Boss compacts & Korg Pitchblack) - Can tune all strings at once (not as accurate as chromatic, but it's usable)
Up to you, tbh the PolyTune is better than any other tuner I've used. |

What's wrong with the build quality of the Pitchblack? I've got one and it's pretty tough. |

| Can you see the PolyTune being with you in 5, 10, 15 years time without issues? All the stuff with USB updates and stuff make me think that when this pedal goes wrong, thats it... |

I heard it's got a poor build quality, like not full metal case like the Boss ones. |

You don't have to update the pedal just because it has USB connectors. The current PolyTune is awesome as shipped. I never use this update stuff on my Eventide stompboxes because they work perfectly now. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
As for lastability... Well TC Electronic make very good quality gear, it's all solid stuff, I can't see it having any problems that a Boss pedal wouldn't.

| I would assume the usb port would be for updates, maybe make the pedal a little more accurate. |
