I wonder where they're manufactured.. Flea probably got a side business started with Fender Mexico..

it's about time he got a bass made after him. it's been needed when guys in fall out boy get there own guitars and basses. when a guy that can play and has put the time in touring and great albums. It has been long overdue

I think Modulus made a Flea signature bass... yep, here it is:

The Fleabass doesn't appear to be a replacement for a pro-level instrument like the Modulus signature model.. they APPEAR to be a budget instrument - hopefully well made in Korea (or, as I stated before, Mexico). Everyone in the ad campaign looks like a learning musician. I don't think Flea himself would tour with one of these.. after using a MusicMan and a Modulus for so many years..


It's easy to put the word "professional" on something.. and have it not be truly so. I hope these are less than $500.
