Steven Page leaves the Canadian band the Barenaked Ladies. This is sad, but I look for good things in his future and from the remaining members of the band as well.

I met them in 1993 on their first big Canadian tour...all really nice guys. It was interesting watching a moderately popular Canadian band become very successful in the states (and not be Nickelback!) in the late 90s.

I wonder if him quitting has anything to do with his lil cocaine thing last year..

They made some pretty good fun music. I see them quite a bit at shows in Toronto..

Didn't know that they are still a band. Thought they broke up long ago.
