A while ago I got an RV-3 from someone who responded to my want ad, and it arrived and I can't help but notice how terribly noisy this is. Is that normal? Should I just use an NS-2 with it? Or do you think there is something wrong with my pedal? By noisy I mean mostly kind of a hiss.
welcome to digital effects. there is nothing wrong with the unit. I have an rv 2 which i dont use because of the same thing. You can turn down the settings which will quieten the thing down. Im building a 6g15 reverb unit from a kit so i can have real reverb.
Fair enough. I was just wondering because of the many good things I've heard about it, and how many people claim that it is the best Reverb pedal out there, and all the pros using it, I figured something was just wrong with mine, but alright.
