it allows one to add one octave up, two octaves up, and one octave down and blend all of them to your original signal. I'm specifically interested in the octave-up functions to cop the sound of a 12-string guitar (or a 12-string bass -- the octave-up function of the PS-2, HR-2, and PS-5 are all too wobbly-sounding to be useful in these applications) from a 6-string guitar (or a 4-string bass, respectively), but have not found one locally to try out. this pedal is also said to be all-analog. thanks in advance for any comments you'd like to share....
Oh my goodness... This is one of the coolest pedals out there. All I can say is that while playing you don't feel like you're playing guitar anymore - you are now Jon Lord and can get the coolest organ vibes because the sounds coming out are the richest, analogy keyboard sounding tones I've come across considering the gear involved. Heaven! In fact, it's one of those things you consider keeping a secret so maybe I'll stop now...
