Does anyone use 2 amps in their setup (split with DD-6/CE-3)?
I just got my fender amp back from repairs today, and the first thing i did was plug it in with my cube60 to see how it works. I moved the CE-3 to right infront of the DD-6, so A output of CE-3 goes into A of DD-6, and B of CE-3 into B of DD-6, then A output of DD-6 to Fender 100w, output B to cube 60 (60w). I got to play for a good 10 minutes before I had the manager come up compaining, so before I use my next 10min, I want to know how to set it up right.
How should I set-up the delay, and will one always be clean and one dirty? I didnt get a chance to listen, I was just playing right away.
Any suggestions would be great |

How to set up the delay is a personal preference question, but maybe I donīt fully understand what you mean. Panning-delay? I have played around with two amps in stereo quite a bit and for the best result I adjust them sounding the same, volume and everything. DC-2/3 sounds extremely good with a stereo set-up. As well as any stereo chorus of course. |

| Not really, but I do run the stereo outs into my mixer & pan the L/R to ping-pong. |

What I meant was to use the delay to split the signal for 2 amps, and each amp has the same amount of delay, so they sound identical.
When I stomp on the chorus, before the DD-6, I would like a panning chorus effect, which I guess will be automaticly done by stereo mode.
But I will get a chance soon to try it out nicely, so I'll test out everything |

i put the ch1 at the end of my chain running into a musicman combo and a marshall head and 2x12 cab when you turn the chorus on you really get a big spread of sound imho....i'm not sure about other chorus pedals but as far as i know the ch1 modulates the signal between the two outputs so you never have a 'dry' output on going to one amp...i would have thought that the dd6 having stereo inputs would pan the effect right and left for a ping pong delay effect...?? while maintaining the stereo chorus effect of your ce3...personally i would run both amps clean and use a pedal for overdrive/distortion..... |
