Had to dig this one up.... well i found it.....it was hiding in the music room behind a John MacLaughlin album... vinyl for you kids out there, one of those 1ft square big black CD's.... before i go nuts looking for new distortion pedals i'm going to give this one a whirl since some of you think it was based on a bigg muff type circuit..i dated this one with the decoder..it's a MIT from 1988...first year of production outside of japan......
Congrads on the HM2. I have 1 MIJ and 2 MITs , and for some reason I prefer my 2 MITs. My mij does have a sticky switch though and im too scared to try and fix it....maybe I should so I can do a proper comparison test...hmm

Tried the HM-2 this through my new rig but with my little selmer as my dry amp......... the output and the bottom end this thing produces compared to my DS-1 or OD-2 is nuts....
If anyone here MUST have one of these, I've got an MIT HM-2 that I am going to part with...
So if you are interested, post an offer here or email me. I have to go look at it, but as I recall it's in perfect shape and sounds just like it is supposed to.
