| Recently I've bought the Tube Factor and it sounds well, but I need something more bad, I've thaught Distortion+, DS-1, ML-2 or something else... I never tried Distortion+ (used by Randy Rhoads for example) what do you think about it? |

If you'll kick hard on the PSP I'm pretty sure it will distort quite heavy also.

PSP = Play Station Portable. I'm sure if i shake it hard enough it WILL distort lol
I think the MXR Distortion+ is the best distortion i've ever heard! I can get anything from the creamiest distortion (think slash) to harsh, in yer face distortion. Mind you, i've heard that the modern Distortion+ pedals made by Dunlop don't compare.
I picked my '79 one up 7 years ago for $20 in the Czech Republic, the guy didn't know what he was selling, and i didn't know what i was buying, lol. it wasn't until i got back to Australia and googled it that i realised it was worth almost 10 times that much :) |

Ahahah... ;)
I've in mind to use Tube Factor as Overdrive and another pedal as Distortion, I've read it too about this fact that old D+ sounds well than the modern version.
Uhm... don't have idea where to find it, but I'll find it! ;)
Don't tell me ebay, I hate it! |

If you have non-active pickups i would suggest you try the new MXR distortion 3. I picked one up for 30 and it sounds awesome! it doesn't like active pickups too much though .

No I suppose that none of my guitars has the active p.u. (are the one with the battery inside, uh?).
 30 =  43.04284 = $ 60.62010
Not too much expensive IMHO... |

Go to guitargeek.com, search for each of your pedals in the gear finder search box to find artists who use them. You'll them have to copy/paste each artist's rig into a program like MS paint, cut out your pedals from their rig and construct your own rig in a new paint file (it's not called guitargeek for nothing...).
EDIT: ps - I've read on the guitargeek forums that the creators of guitargeek are a bit salty about people doing what i've outlined above, citing copyright of guitargeek's whole concept and style. It doesn't seem to stop people doing it, and since the site hasn't been updated in years and only the forums see any action, do it at your own risk |

Right, but I would like to say (or repeat) something 'bout it:
- I don't take profit of this action, I've elaborated the stuff found in the site and I use just to have a funny way to see the pedals
- In my prior post I mentioned the owner of the idea
- As you told just now: the site isn't updated from years
- I suppose that isn't a so big crime, you don't?
Some Weird Sin, tell me your set up and in a moment free of job I'll do it (even if someone hasn't problem ).

What GG should do set up an option to create your own rig and embed a watermark on the generated jpg.
It winds up being good promotion for them. |

zestystrat@ I totally agree with you (Dunno if it's in correct english but I hope it's quite understable).
Leeroyfunk@ this is the exact procedure that I've done, except for two things: I've used Fireworks in place of MS Paint (I came from Amiga and I hate any MS product!) and I've recreated some jack and all the cables path. Anyway not all the person has confidence with graphic. |

I hope it's not a crime...

Old, and very out-of-date (got a BD-2, FT-2, EHX Smallstone and Radial Bigshot ABY since then) but you get the idea... |
