Just below I asked if anyone has the schematic for this pedal. Since no one has come forth with htem, I'll post my concern as a technical question instead-
I just scored one of these off Ebay in the last day and while the pedal functions perfectly in every sonic way, the LED is very dim, regardless if it is used with a power supply or battery.
Any ideas why and what can be done to remedy this (this is why I original asked about the schematics)???
Once again, TIA!!!

Strange that it does this when using a battery. Off a power supply I guess this could be explained if using an ACA pedal with the PSA or other regulated power supply.
Have you tried connecting it through a daisy chain with another pedal made for the PSA supply? Stinkfoot gave us a great explanation why this may help in this thread: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=122 |

Actually, the adapter in question is a Danelectro No-hum. The LED brightness (dimness?) remains consistant with either...
While we're on the topic of power supply, anyone have any suggestions for powering the following on my pedalboard (I'm getting tired of plugging in Three No-Hums with daisy chains)-
FT-2 Dynamic Filter TR-2 Tremolo OC-2 Octaver BF-2 Flanger SYB-3 Bass synth DC-2 Dimension C DS-2 Turbo Distortion Morley SLVO Optical volume pedal
I could build something (no problem there, I'm just lazy), so any links are apreciated!!!
Just adding fire to the Woodshed- TIA!!!! |

I just got my self a Boss RPW-7 power supply. 700mA from 5 outputs on the back. Best of all, it was dead cheap |

| The switching is controlled by several transistors. I'm not sure exaclty how they do it, but my guess would be that one of the transistors has gone bad, that if there is an electrolytic capacitor as part of the switching circuit it has dried up, or both. |
