I have a Boss DF-2 Distortion Feedbacker.I dont see it posted on Boss Area.Anybody have any information on that pedal and when it was made?Also the Boss Area shows the DS-2 as being made in Taiwan.Mine has a silver label and says made in Japan.

The DF-2 is on the home page. It says only MIJ. I though there were MIT DF-2s....

A MIJ DS-2 must have been an early one.

What are the serial numbers on your pedals?

The DF2 was definitely MIJ and MIT. I have one of each:

SUPER Distortion & Feedbacker MIJ
SUPER Feedbacker & Distortion MIT

The label information isn't complete so there's probably lots more corrections to be found. Thanks for the info, I will add the MIJ DS-2.

What's the label colour of the MIT DF-2?

I just checked it out and the plate has been replaced, because the serial number is marked "Japan". Sorry about that!

There's probably Taiwan produced DF-2s out there so if anyone got one, please post the label colour and I'll update the DF-2 page.

DF2 (super feedbacker and distortion) and DS2 does have MIJ and MIT units. the MIJ DS2 and MIJ DF2 i owned both has a black sticker. i can't remember the sticker color of their MIT counterparts. guessing between silver and black.

I would guess that they are black, as with a lot of the transitional pedals.
