Just wanted to know iof anyone's ever tried this and if it stacks up to some of the other big wahs out there? I have the AW-3, so I know how it sounds, but just wnated to knoiw how th EXP works out since there is no real 'mode' for it. Also, if it sounds goodm, does it have a good sweep, etc. with the Roland EV-5.
I was fortunate to receive exactly this from my wife for Father's day this year.
In my opinion, the wah-driven-by-expression-pedal function of the AW-3 is a bit of a toy. I have a couple of real wahs and it doesn't stack up gainst them. I can't go past my CryBaby.
A point to note is that when the exptrssion pedal is plugged in, the auto-wah mode is defeated - it's expression wah or nothing.
