Hi there's a very minty looking OD-1 on ebay which I might be interested in... BUT

a) it looks too clean to be true
b) the serial suggests it's been built July 1988 ?? could be a fault in the decoder though

what do you guys think....

I think I know which one you mean. Most likely it's original. I've seen OD-1s that decode to 1989 as well. Note how it's got the long black label with room for a serial sticker on the label. Only the last ones had that. It is surprisingly clean, especially for a pedal sold without a box.

Since MullyFX was considering buying it I didn't want to post the link in case someone gazumped him after seeing the link here. It might not be the same one anyway but I'll let MullyFX decide whether to post it or not.

thanks for not posting the link right away cuz I'm sooooo considering to buy it. Just wondering if it's worth 130 quid (about �160).

I'm still considering it but hey if anybody wants it more (or just faster) that's fine. I already bought 4 pedals this month

if you guys think it's really worth it I might consider it even more though.

Haven't been paying attention to what people pay for an OD-1 in that condition lately.

Hey Doc,
