I found a deal for a DM-3 and FZ-2 for $150 locally, but the guy doesnt reply when I say I want to try them out first.
Theres a chance that they still work, and that he just doesnt want to go into a stangers house, or they could just be broken and he doesnt want anyone to try them before buying.
Would it still be a good deal if they are broken? |

| thats quite the pickle. my first reaction is that 150 sounds too good to be true, and the fact that he wont let you try them would raise a flag for me. but then again, theres a chance theyre both working, its hard to say. |

And there is a chance they're not working and they're unrepairable. Did he stated they're working good?? It's very suspicious he doesn't let you try them first. He can meet you at a neutral place, maybe school or wherever an AC outlet for the amp is accessable, I think. I would not buy them without try them first or maybe I'll ask for a even better deal. |

It is a wierd situation. The add has been up for almost a week now. Most good deals get taken in a day, but again, the guy said that everyone who said would buy has fell through. It could be the truth, or hes trying to scam a lot of people.
Im almost completely broke too, so I dont have the money to buy them if they turn out to be broken and cant resell for same price. But also, just the box of a DM-2 went for around $75USD lately, so the acutal pedal (working or not), should be worth around double that. But it is ebay, so who knows....
I just dont know what to do. Im going to try to keep emailing him until he responds to the testing part instead of avoiding it.
EDIT: I remembered he was selling something before as well. It was a DC-2, DD-5, and FT-2 for really cheap. I messaged him about them, but by the time he replied, they were already sold. I dont know if that makes him more reputable or not, but I would love to hear other peoples opinions with this new information |

| There was also a non-functioning VB-2 that went for well over 200 USD on ebay a couple week ago. Can he provide pictures of the pedals? Get him to send a picture with the pedals plugged in and powered on. If he can do that, I would say it is worth the risk. |
