As some of you have known, i have been on the look out for some good old/used gear, i came across a Boss PH-1 in good condition and just enquired about wether they still had it, they did and now im gonna get it tomorrow.
Trading in some stuff for it as well, as soon as i get it i can then start building my Boss only pedal board!!!
Pics when i get it!!!

I know the Boss adiction is unstopable, i already have arround 7 Boss pedals and have owned arround 9 in total, trading a MT-2 and ODB-3 in for other gear and because they sucked.
I now want to get a CS-1 (theres 2 near me in guitar shops) and a OC-3 as well.
Even tho i know my EVH Phase 90 is a better phaser, i like the coolness and the subtleness of the PH-1, its like my CH-1, subtle in what it does, but not too subtle so its not noticible, you know its there, but you dont know its there sorta thing.

Already tried it, and i even tried a PH-3 in the same day, and i now know the PH-1 is an amazing pedal, and the great thing is it will hold its value, but i want it not to put in a display case, but to use.
I now have the itch for more old Boss pedals. |

I have not tried the PH-1r, i would like to tho.
I have just cleaned my Ph-1 extencivly taking all the years of grime and dirt off of it, and when i took the pedal off to get under the battery area i was looking thrugh to the circuit board and it said PH-1, that made me wonder could it be a Silver Screw version that someone has changed to a Black Screw, and on examining the back instructions it says "open with a coin".
Could this have been the case, its a silver screw that someone has changed to a black screw as posibly they have lost a silver screw on another pedal and used the one that was on this one, only to replace with a black screw on a pedal that was later binned as it crapped out on them???
I know its far fetched, but could that be a posibility??? |

| its not far fetched at all. its almost likely that your PH-1 should be Silver Screw. come to think of it i dont think ive ever seen a black screw PH-1. well not original anyway |
