There is a dd-7 which is amazing. it has stereo ins and outs, external tap tempo in which also takes an expression pedal. a 40 second looper, an analog setting based off the dm2(!) and o3758931 other features!

and the sl20 slicer which is a bad ass rhythmnic trem, harmonic thingy. it looks like a ninja turtle, it has a looper and expression pedal in and it's awesome.

there are video demos on the boss products section and they should be available in december

I've said they needed a dd7 for so long and they listened! and the slicer is an added bonus. let me find links for you guys

I can give my CE-5, DD-6, & RC-2 to my son!
What a DD-7.

The RL-20 sounds like a cross between a TR-2 & Moog MuRF (Multiple Resonance Filter) with animations.

DECEMBER!?!? omg

DD7: I tried it for about 5 minutes just switching through the modes. The analogue sounds as good as that of the dd20, maybe even warmer. The reverse is much nicer than the DD6 and the dd20. The modulation was also warm. Overall , it sounded much less digital than the dd3/6. I am on my way back to the messe and will try it some more. They had 3 of them all with FS5 hooked up for tap tempo, but one can slo use an expression pedal. I didnt check, but if it is a stereo input, than one can use botha tap and expression pedal which would rock.

The SL20 is wild, thats all I can say, it is not a plug in and play.

I also tried the GT10 and was so far not so impressed.

It was late and we were setting up the booth (Tonfuchs guitars-BTW if you are looking for a GREAT handmade guitar, check them out, htey blow away many guitars)
so I didnt have much time, but I will invest some time today.

I

That's truly awesome news. A lot of people, inclusing myself, was somewhat dissappointed after NAMM when the only new products was the new floorboards.

The slicer effect has been mentioned several times here on the forum. It's one of the coolest effects from the GT-x boards so it's great to see that our wishes has been heard and that it's now being released in a separate device. It won't surprise me if they release a SL-2 slicer in compact format next year too

Both pedals will definitely end up on my floor as soon as Roland can deliver them. It's a shame it always takes them so many months to deliver. Usually they estimate 3 months, then it takes 5 months. A 9 month estimate is shocking but maybe they've learned from under estimating the time earlier and is now over estimating instead.
