really "off topic", is'nt it ?
when I was a teenager I never had a Game Boy (my money was spent in books and later in bass guitar).
I had a Game Boy 10 years ago but the screen is now broken...
so my 8 years old son and I decided it was time to have 2 Game Boy Color (he likes old and simple games).
we often play :
- Dropzone (I need another cartridge, we only have one and we both love that game.......) - Gauntlet II (2 cartridges) / (solo or with a game link : he plays warrior, I play wizard) - F1 Race (2 cartridges) - Qix - Space Invaders
(for these two games, we need another cartridges for the 2 players mode).
I also play Pinball Deluxe but he doesn't.
in fact, we have a "SF" game, an Heroc Fantaisy (classic dungeon) RPG, a race, and 3 classic arcade games.
any other Game Boy fans here ???
by the way : I have a Game Boy Camera in order to play music with the "DJ" mode, these are my tracks, and a Kraftwerk cover :

Hi kulten
You might be interested, there is also a "Video Games" thread, running on this link, in "Off Topic" as well. But it seems to be centered on the larger game consoles.

Train Your Brain (brain Training) games seem to be very popular with the people who have then at work. Some of the guys have bought an SD card with heaps of games installed on them. I think they got them at the Sunday markets... wink wink, if you know what I mean.

I have a Nintendo DS which I run as many old consoles, one of which being a Gameboy. I have the old Mario game for it. I remember really wanting a gameboy when I was younger, because the had one when I was in hospital, but I was only aloud to play for 30 minutes every other day. If anyone would like to know how to run old games on a DS, PM me and I'll give you the lowdown. Dunno if it works for the new DSi, as I don't have one. |

Oh man, how many hours of my childhood was wasted playing with a Gameboy? I never had a color, but I did have a GB Pocket and GB Advance. My younger siblings have a DS. Can't beat playing classic Tetris on the old bricky Gameboy! |

Hi FrenchBOSS That sounds very cool. I'd like to see & hear that. Is it a game or is it like a VST Synth that you play, with some on-screen keyboard?
--- edit --- OK, I Found a great demo & Interwiew video, with the developers here: http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/19545

This is the first tune I made on the Korg DS-10. Was going to try and add guitar and better drums to it. Just for the challenge, and see what kind of hot mess comes out. MySpace |

i couldn't watch your link sorry! but the ds-10 seems to be very complete, and you can even use it as a sequencer and as a kaosspad, and you can also connect several DS together and play with them, like here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA6QtdAFNWw&feature=related i want one! |
