Hi! Old question again, but im new here and are about to read all old topics and now im at number 18, so theres still more to go and I hope that you guys can stand that some old questions come back.
To this topic: I have a SD-2 wich works as a linebooster on all the time but with drive at minimum and level at maximum, tone set zero. So if that counts, then I sometimes use three ods at same time. I also have a OD-3 (settings like a clock) Level 11, Tone 12, Drive 7. This setting gives my sound just a little more gain and doesnt decrease bass from the mainsound, OD-3 is great for low-drive settings because of that I think. After OD-3 my OD-1 is, and they are close to each other so I can switch them on by pressing my foot at the both of them. OD-1 settings: Level 11, Drive 12. I often use the OD-3 and OD-1 on at the same time, cause it gives my tone a "over the top" boost, nice overtones and a cool dirty sound. It makes my rig very useful I think, many combinations ans sounds by these two pedals. I also have tested my PW-2 in front of all, and with settings Level 10, Fat 5 (maximum), Muscle 5 (maximum) and Drive 7 (minimum). This setting adds dirt to the sound just a little more. Its cool. Doesnt raise the gain that much but still adds dirt. |

Hi Shoegazers Anonymous
Interesting set-up
Is your OD-1 the 14 pin IC version or the more common 8 PIN JRC4668 version?

| I'm using H&K Tubefactor or Ibz Mostortion as a nice dirt booster. Never find a nice fat dirt booster from boss overdrives. |

Hi Dr. Bob! I really dont know... I havent got the guts to open any BOSS pedal up yet. Afraid to break something, but I have figured out that it only is the four philipskrews that has to be removed? I have my gear at the rehearsalroom a way from home. But next time I have the gear home I definetly will look some things up. After a week here at the forum I definently have a few questions for my self. Its a old one I think. It has black numbers stamped inside where the battery is, or close, aboove the switch. Four of them. |

| When I am not using my Boss MT-2, I usually use my TS-808 clone into my EH Big Muff clone. |

I love to run my FZ-2 (mode II) to my MD-2 into a PQ-4. Big boosty bassy fuzz. |

| I used to run my DS-1 into my OD-3 for rythm, and into my SD-1 for leads... right now I'm using a DS-1 or DS-2 alone .I may turn on the compressor before either one of them I may be using by that time (for leads)... I also use the GE-7 for leads a lot... I used to like very much using the DS-1 before the OD-3, but it makes your sound a bit softer, warmer or more vintage sounding... for me, a good all-around rock distortion sound is achieved by just a ds-1 and the volume of the guitar... turn it a bit lower for rythm, and to full for leads (maybe with the help of the CS-3 before it and the GE-7 after it, if it's needed by the song). |

| i use an hm-2 for metal sounds or a ds-1 for mid gain sounds then boost them for solos using an od-1 with setting : level 1-2:00, gain at 9:00 or lower. gain in my amp is 12:00 or higher but the boost switch is OFF. |
