Sometimes I switch on the drum machine and play "What you're doing?" by Rush with the OC-2. It sounds like a full band and obvisouly the guitar and the fake bass is very tight. |

My first was OC-2 which I bought in the mid-80's, I don't think I ever used it with any of the bands I was in, but it was a fun toy which I later traded for Music Man amp...

Maybe I should start a thread "Whats your most useless/un-used Boss pedal?"
I get the feeling most of us would have the same answer |

| My first stomp box was the SD-1 and this must have been around '86. It was soon replaced with an OD-2, since I needed more gain than the SD-1 could deliver. |

| Ok I lied about my first pedal, kind of. My first pedal was the FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz, at the time i didn't know how to set it up the way I wanted. So I traded it to my bass player for an SD-1, Which was a demo model and was broken. |

CE-2B in 2004 because it was the first pedal I could lay my hands on via Ebay It was soon followed by a BF-2B So, I'm still a rookie but that's OK I got so much more to explore, I feel like a kid in a candystore (and that's a great feelins since I am a kid of 34 with the money to buy the whole candystore ) |

| What do you ( and others ) think of the DF2? Gimmick? Does the drive on it's own offer anything "special" or is it meant to be coupled with the feedback feature ( i.e.; voiced for that ) for the full effect to be had? |

| I've found the DF-2 drive by itself is thicker than a DS-1, i find the feedback feature to be an added bonus. |
