Hi Stomp98
Welcome to the forum Stomp98 There a quite a few of us Aussies, from the land of down under. here on the board.
I just has a look at the links, & it's about the right price for the EH-2 Enhancer $90AU to $160AU, but I'm unfamiliar with the XT-2.
What part of Oz are you in, if you don't mind me asking?
That guy in Traralgon East Vic. is selling heaps of stuff, last week he had a Boss OD-20 Twin pedal distortion. I don't think anyone bid on it, but I'm not 100% sure.
Regards Dr, Bob |

Hi Stomp98
I wouldn't pay AU$150 for the XT-2. Assuming of course that the EH-2 didn't come with the box and manual, then I wouldn't pay AU$150 either but if it did, then I might think about it as its a useful pedal.
From other people's reviews the XT-2 is a difficult pedal to get a 'good' sound from so unless you know what this pedal sounds like and you like it OR you just want to collect the pedal, then $150 starts to sound pretty expensive to me.
Then again, the pedals are only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it... so you just gotta have em then who am I to tell you otherwise |

yeah well i was really after an enhancer pedal cos 9/10 people say they are a must have pedal, but to be honest i wouldn't be totally happy with the purchase for $150 for a used pedal with no box. i might keep hunting around see what pops up. the auction only has 2 days to go and no bids so its possible it may be relisted for a cheaper price, we'll see. thanks for the info though.

| the EH-2 is escalating in price lately, but knowing what i paid for my EH-2s, paying near that seems like a sin. |

New Old Stock - something that was made a long time ago but has never been used - or at least appears that it hasn't... e.g been sitting on the shelf in a shop for the past 20 years.

Hi Stomp98 Congratulations, good price for Aussie dollars. I paid $90 for mine, as new but pre-loved, with box & manual.
Did the store/person know what the price of the EH-2 really was, or was it just a sale? Mind if I ask where you bought it from?
Regards Dr. Bob

Hey Doctor Bob.
I assume the seller knew what it was? I got it from a singaporean BOSS dealer by the name of Ginadz Music. Ginadz has quite a few auctions on eBay, i'm sure you've seen the name around on eBay if you've ever looked up boss pedals on there. Generally Ginadz will only deal with current products but i enquired about the EH-2 and Ginadz sourced one for me! Sorry to do a bit of advertising, but i have to say the service from this "store" is amazing. They're prices are pretty good for new pedals and they have fantastic postage terms, usually takes about 5 w/days to get here and is usually just as cheap for registered as AusPost would charge. Sorry to blab but if your looking for new pedals i would recommend Ginadz above most (if not all) of the other places i've had experience with. [End of Rant] |

Hi Stomp98
Positive & favorable user feedback, is good for all of us here on the forum.
If you look around the forum I am sure that that you will find some: Hard luck & done wrong stories.
I personally appreciate your positive comments, & I didn't think that it was a rant. ... I have a 1 year long, done wrong, Fender acoustic guitar, story. that a local & well known Aust. wide music retailer, tried to pull on me. I am glad, but sorry to say that it all settled recently ( only 2 weeks ago) but it wasn't the resolution that I was looking for, & I had to get nasty with head office in Sydney, before it was all sorted out.
It cost me a long time business relationship with one of the stores, but I suppose Allanz (hint) are pleased that they could settle it for me (with their rules though).
I now have a brand new Fender Acoustic cut-away, that I didn't play or pick or want, And I am "very" tone & finished quality fussy, when it comes to picking a guitar ( I suppose we all are) especially an acoustic.
It was the first acoustic that I have bought in over 29-10 years.
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautifull sounding, pro setup guitar, but it just carries too much bad vibe, people that know me, have suggested that I sell it, seeing it's BRAND NEW, & just go buy one, that I picked.
Someone at work, who knows the whole sordid story, actually offered to buy it, next pay.
Now I think I was ranting.....

Hey Dr Bob
You have my sympathy...
I know that those large chain music stores can be a real pain at times and you have to really know what you want when you go shopping there or they will screw you over. |

Hi Ronster Thanks... all I can say, is the Allan--z who lives in Ballarat is no longer on my shopping list. The guitar was a belated Xmas present from me to me.
I saw that you were bidding on the SD-2 earlier this week ronster12au, well I thought that it was you. ( I can still see the biders in the bid history). A friend of mine from work, did a last 3 seconds bid on it & won it for me. (woo woo)
Did you have any GAS attacks this week?
Regards Dr. Bob
