Its planned to be in the stores in the beginning of 2010, at least in Sweden.
By the way, thank you Linda for the great news

Thanks Goran & Bossarea.

It looks like the Specifications page works. (sort of).

We sometimes get a bit of a heads up from Roland, about new gear,
but it looks you beat as all to it.
I'll let you all know if I receive anything in the coming days.

I wonder if it's Boss/Roland's attempt,
to stave off some falling sales to Korg's "Pitch Black" tuner?
It looks it might have some of the Pitch Black's display modes?

But then again, not too long ago, they released a bunch of new tuners.

Goran please thank your contact as well from all of us.

Regards Dr. Bob

I e-mail my contact now and then, for questions and a small chat, shes a nice lady and guitar player too.
Today I wrote her and told her to join the competition of Dr Bobs amp, how nice wouldnt it have been if it would be The Queen of Boss. In that conversation she mentioned the new TU-3, so to get things straight; she is not using me as a person to get Boss advertisments for free on the forum.
I think its very good to have this contact (or others working at tRoland) for the forum, and I know that Roland/Boss take note of our suggestions and opinions when making a new model or upgrading an existing one.

1 cent accuracy.

The TU-2 still sells really well. People just trust the durability over other stomps.

edit: I hope it's not overpriced!!

Hi verivorax & Guys
If you click on the specs page (3rd tab across), for the translated page that bossarea posted above.

http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http://www.roland.co.jp/products/jp/TU-3/index.html&rurl=translate.google.ie&usg=ALkJrhg13d7l_tP9K7PmJB39SBpannYmhQ

The Accuracy is listed as 0.1 cents.
quote:

Cut & past from Boss-Japan specifications page:

Internal measurement accuracy 0.1#12475;#12531;#12488; 0.1 cents

So I guess we'll have to wait & see what the final real spec is?

Regards Dr. Bob

I like my TU2 a lot. I don't think id bother buying this unless its "true bypass".
I don't think my tu2 kills my tone anyway..

Its kind of disapointing that all boss have released recently is tuners and another fender pedal.

I still love boss though
