hi all,

is the serial number decoder works for a pedal like the CE-1 or only for compact pedals ?

I think it does work, mine has the S/N 246619, which is dated to Nov 1982 on the decoder and the power lead also has 1982 printed on it.

I don't think you can trust the serial number decoder for the CE-1 or the other pre-compacts. These pedals were using 6 digit serial numbers when the compact pedals had the ink stamped 4 digit numbers and for that period, it will definitely be wrong. Maybe it works for pedals made from 1981 but I'm not really sure.
