No....with christmas and all that, the house has been mental with family and visitors...us irish are very social especially if there is some free drink involved.... ...i was supposed to get back to Dr Bob with some more hi res pics of the internals of the amp....i have managed to do some research on the net about the symptoms and the guy who runs the musicman amps website came back to me in an email saying he would sort my application out over the hols...the guys over there really know these amps inside and out, some of them were dealers for musicman gear back in the 70's,but what i've read up on so far it could be a few different things,i also have a possible repairman local that i didn't know about working out of his house in a small town about 10 mins away in the car.... like i said before bro' musicman amps run on very high plate voltages about 725 volts so i'm a bit wary of putting my hand inside this particular amp as tube/valve amps can store a charge of electricity..... i've got a few belts over the years working in construction and it's not something i would care to repeat..... ..... |
