I managed to play my Blondie, 52RI Tele for a few hours today.
It's the Easter 4 day weekend.

If you got the money, I say get it! As those have been discontinued, but then again, I am probably the last person you should be asking on whether or not to get a Telecaster, because my answer will always be YES  |

I hope so, I mean I think I should be able to, cause it was about $50 less than what they usually cost. If not, I guess I will be an experiment to see if man can survive on beer, cigarettes, Telecasters, guitar pedals, and solder fumes....Alright I know that I probably can't survive on solder fumes, especially since I use non-RoHS compliant 63/37 solder  |

I think my new Tele may arrive a day early! I am really anxious to get this one because I bought it as a Blem from an online retailer after hearing lots of success stories about blem purchases, but I have heard a few nightmare ones too, so I am wondering how things will turn out. Especially because before shipment, every reference to the guitar on the info sent to me had the word BLEM in it, but once I got shipping info the word Blem was not longer on any of the info, so I am wondering if they ran out of blems when they got to filling my order and just sent a new one instead of cancelling my order and making me (or any customer really) get upset with them for cancelling an order for an item that was listed as in stock...I'll be sure to let everyone know... |

| ITS HERE! It arrived a day earlier than scheduled. It was previously owned, as it does not have the stock Fender strings, but some D'Addarios. I'll need to re-string, but a quick plug in and play test shows that everything seems to be in order. I'll take some pics tomorrow. I have a test I need to study for tonight, so while I would normally be happy that it arrived a day early, I have to make sure to study some tonight and not mess around with it until tomorrow... |
