This is perhaps the least talked about pedal of the old silver screw series so not much data exists on them.
I bought another one of these as I came across a cheap one. It has the same batch number as my other one - #9800. The new one is a black screw version while the old one has a silver screw. I'm wondering if this means that they changed from silver to black screws within batch 9800 or not.
If you got a GE-6, please post the batch number and screw type. Would be coll if we could figure out some more about these. |

Well, there aren't many of them so it's hard to actually compare prices on the GE-6. If you're looking for one it could take months before one surfaces and then you might be willing to pay whatever the seller asks. That's probably how it's going to be with me when I'm looking for the last pedal

Bossarea congrats on the GE-6, I was watching it all the time, and noticed how it's "Buy it Now" price dropped over the course of the auction.
I believe if this seller would have provided an image his pedal could have sold for a lot more. For a little while I was wondering whether to ask the seller some questions, but then I felt I had no real need for a GE-6. There is no mastervolume on them, and the sound will be similar to the GE-7. I have two MXR equalizers, they are of a 6-band type as well, and these really sound very very warm, so again, thought it was better to let this pedal pass on to someone else.
All in all, I am happy that the pedal went to you bossarea, as you have an interest in owning all the different versions. |

Mine is a sliver screw clear switch with a stamped black ink #7000, very old I would guess.

From my experience the GE-7 is quieter than the GE-6. If you start boosting the high frequencies with the GE-6 you'll quickly end up in noiseville. |

Yes it does. Also has clear switch with spring coil around it.
