Our gig was OK, nothing spectacular happened so to speak.
It was your average 25 year marriage celebration, were a lot of people sit down and don't leave their chair except for an occasional visit to the loo.
They liked the music, but it was very hard to get 'em up and dance.
Which is never very satisfying and entertaining for any band I guess.
Oh well, next gig is in 2 weeks in the local pub, usually a spot for a little more interaction.
We'll also have a female guestsinger, so that'll be very cool. |

This topic has really freaked out in many directions, nice 
I sure hope that all bossarea members the next year, the nearest Friday to June the 21st eats potatoes, herring and drinks vodka

Howdy all......
First off the gig went well,Dirk was asking about the acoustics in the castle,we played in the old library which is converted into a bar, a lowish ceiling and a lot of carpet/wall hangings/furniture plus a packed pub = a lot of soaked up sound....but a friend asked to do a couple of numbers on the guitar so i was able to have a beer and listen from the audience for a while and it sounded pretty good to me.......Lauries advice on the freq card for our crossover was a big help...cheers bro'.... it was a next day after a wedding gig for our original drummer who left a few years ago due to work commitments so there was a lot of this....... ....i wasn't so good the next day....i didn't get homne till around 6.30 am on the sunday morning Mrs F wasn't too impressed with my broken head later on that day especially since i didn't surface until lunchtime..... we have three gigs this weekend coming were opening and closing a local festival on the friday and sunday,and have a regular gig on the saturday so it's not all bad news.........Rock n Roll .... ...... |
