I dont like Yngwies music even if I can understand that hes a brilliant guitar player, but I like his signature DOD pedal. Wish they choose Robert Fripp instead. But a Boss signature pedal. Had anybody told me a year ago about the Fender/boss pedals I would have laughed, so everything is possible.

| I hope not. But if they do put out signature models they should do the zakk wylde sd-1 first. Just for the looks of it. |

i love Yngwie, and i love Boss, but i think this might be "crossing the streams" in the words of Egon Spangler.
but seriously the thing im afraid of is that if Boss does this for one artist, they will definately keep going, and to me this kind of cheapens the name a little bit. kind of like the Fender/Boss pedals. i hear they are awesome sounding pedals, but its kinda wierd having to see those from a collectors standpoint. i say leave it to Digitech |

Yeah, I heard supposedly at one point he was having some noise issues, so his roadie put an NS-2 into the chain and problem was solved and Yngwie like it, and that might be what started the relationship with Boss. I'm just glad Yngwie got a headline where he wasn't getting arrested or pulling a gun out on someone |

Signature Pedals! Wait for it,"Relic" paint pedals are soon to follow. Pedals 4 pv is ahead of the game. Most of my pedals have been reliced and in fact I can custom Relic any pedal for very low rates plus shipping and handling, just email me |

Thats pretty cool,eh? Dr. Bob. The link I got in the Roland email newsletter wouldn't work for me, but your link did. I get a kick out of the pages turning themselves. |

Dammit Dr. Platinum, I want 15 minutes of my life back. That thing loaded up slower than snails...LOL.
So wait, are there or aren't there going to be signature pedals? I am not a big fan of signature gear, unless its a Les Paul or Rhoads V, other than that, you won't find anything signature in my hands. Oftentimes with signature gear, you are just paying more for something just cause it has so and so's signature on it. Its like going to a restaurant that offers a menu and buffet. You order from the menu thinking it'll be fresher than the buffet, even though it costs more and you have to wait a few minutes, only to see your server removing a few of the items you ordered off of the buffett line, then moments later your order appears...Sometimes signature gear leaves you feeling stupid and cheated is all I am saying. |

i tried the Clapton Crossroads pedal a while ago and guess what. it didnt make me sound like Clapton. same with the Dime Wah, Zakk Wylde strings, George Lynch Amp, the list goes on... |

Hi jack

Sorry - but are you on dial up? or maybe it was hit really hard, after we posted the link. Or was it a fictitious tongue in cheek, it even loaded very fast on the overloaded & overused connection from work.
But then, I do sometimes forget that we are on ADSL2+ here, where I am.

Last I heard they weren't making DOD pedals anymore (damn shame, because the 250 o/d is a stone cold classic), so maybe Yngwie's after a new endorsement.
Not sure I'd be after one of his pedals, mind you. All that shredding ain't my thing. |

I'm on a cable internet hookup, but maybe since Australia is on the other hemisphere the signal flow goes downhill more to you than to me...LOL |

You're right as Musicians Friend had them at $20 a month or so ago. If you are handy with a soldering iron, you can always pickup this 250+ clone, and it will be true bypass and made by you... http://www.buildyourownclone.com/250.html |
