Looking for some middle-to-high quality patch cables for my board, or some sort of kit, that's solderless. I've read good things about George L's, so I might go with them.
I'm looking for a U.S. vendor that has decent cables for decent prices and your experiences with them.
Thanks in advance guys! |

Which cables from them?
A friend recommended one of theirs, but they were something like $40 for a 6" cable if I was reading their site correctly and don't get me wrong, I like buying the "best" of things I can but I can't justify spending that much when I need to buy at least 6x6" patch cables. |

I know Mark sells a solderless pedal board kit, which starts off around $90. He is a very nice guy and is all about making custom cable. Email him saying what you want and he will surely suggest something for you.
Other wise the L's have gotten a good reputation. |

planet waves sell a kit so you can make your own...10 right angle, solderless jack plugs,10 ft of cable and a cutter for the cable ...it was about 55 here in Dublin for the lot,so it will probably be cheaper stateside.... |

Lava cables are probably the best, don't think I've ever heard a bad word about them, but they're way too pricey for me, but I suppose they're not aimed at students with no money.
I use George L's, lots of people seem to like them and they're reasonably priced. |

| I'd so much go with properly crimped & strain-reliefed, soldered, high-quality cables. |

Both. It's cheaper to buy from other dealers or ebay. There's a lot of places that sell George L's stuff so you'll have to search around for the cheapest. |
