The guitar player in one of my bands uses an old Ibanez DCL-10 digital stereo chorus.
He uses it to split his signal to two amps, and it sounds real shimmery and eerie, pretty cool.

When I was using Chorus a lot, I used a CE-2B bass chorus on guitar and thought it was phynominal. I don't need chorus anymore so I'm getting rid of it.

Bought back a pedal I sold last year (for $20 less)
A Danelectro Rocky Road Spinning Speaker, its a Fender Vibratone/Leslie 16 type pedal with chorus/phaser/vibrato
Even tho the chorus (or Chorale) is fixed, its pretty sweet

Think you need the CE-1 to compete your Boss Chorus collection,

Too funny, was surfing the local ads and came across a Boss PS-5 for $80
mint with box n manual
Talked to the guy, turns out its the same one I sold to him last year for $100, another deal, and another use for my EV-10 expression pedal
Funny how somethings come in full circle

That's excellent!
It probably has little or no additional use then, eh?
As he was just "holding" it for you, heh.

Somehow, I picture you with greasy trenchcoat on, standing in an alley with out of production Boss pedals hanging like apples inside as you flash passersby.

"Hey buddy.. need a Boss?"
.
.
"Get your VB-2, right 'chere."
.
.
Little girls running away, screaming..

I recently acquired a dc-2 and have nothing but love for it. It is the perfect chorus pedal for me. But I agree setting 8 on the ps-3 does make for a killer chorus.

My favourite is an obscure Japanese chorus from the 80's: the Sound City SC-01.

http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/Sound+City/SC+01+Stereo+Chorus/10/1

It's a little noisy, but it's as full as a CE-2, with a flangy edge that recalls the HF-2. It has the best range of any chorus I've ever had: everything from slow flanging to a lunatic rotary speaker impersonation.

Hi all,

I know this won't be popular here as it's a boss forum, but my two favourite chorus sounds are:

1. The TC2290 with mod on the delay only (Think 'The Edge')

2. The MXR 129 Pitch transposer on detune

Ufotunately both of those are expensive, the MXR I've sold as I hardly ever used it. The 2290 chorus sound is absolutely brilliant, and I don't really like chorus! I only use it on some clean sounds. I've had a few goes on the H3000 eventide, but never owned one as they are so expensive.

I've got the digital metaliser pedal, I actually like the distortion sound, quite fat and middly - but the delay and chorus sounds I hate so much I superglued the knob in the 'off' position.

Favourite boss chorus pedal - CE2

Mat.
