IIRC, electronic signals will travel through wires at near the speed of light which works out to about 1 nano second per foot.

I've heard that electrons flow (or holes in hole-theory) at .5 the speed of light, like through a computer.

My new rig is working out well...the tone loss i was getting by running the rack after the pedalboard in the front end of two amps in stereo is gone now since i got the stereo power amp and built the two 1 x 12 satillite cabs and run them either side of my main amp... i've re-jigged the setup slightly from the original idea so it's not really a wet/dry/wet rig in the strict sense of that idea anymore but i still love it..i'm afraid i couldn't leave my CE-2,BF-2,TR-2 and my two DD-3's off my board and miking the main amp to send a signal to the rack didn't work due to feedback so i plug the pedalboard into the front end of the XT PRO..i use the direct(unprocessed) output of the Pod to feed the guitar amp(which seems to be not affect the signal to my musicman combo at all) and the main outs feed the the tube mic preamps channels A+B for EQing and to 'warm up' and boost the pods output slighty before the power amp...still experimenting with the EQ on the mic pre but it's sounding pretty decent even without the main amp but all together i'm very happy with the the way it's working out...the range of sounds i have at my disposal with the boss stuff plus the rack is great...plus now i have what i always wanted...a leslie simulator (my Dynacord CLS22) running in stereo at the tip of a switch plus the stereo/ping pong delays and some other patches from the Pod that i like.......somehow i think 'cold shot' with be getting added to the set list...

P.S ..In case anyone is interested i mic all three (amp and the two stereo cabs) and send three lines over to the desk...i'm using a sennheiser 825 on the amp and the AKG D770's on the cabs...
