I've been working on a pair of Chord & Scale Reference Charts that will be presented in 8.5"x5.5" bound & laminated flip-booklets like the very professional charts from Sky-Spot:

In the meantime, I've whipped up a WUXGA(1920x1200) desktop background from my efforts thus far. It helps me identify which notes are the 3rds, 5ths, etc.
Other resolutions upon request. Updates to come; I'll probably add Aug, Dim, Sus4, 6ths, & 9ths.
666k download! Mwuhahaa..

Enjoy |

*whew* 3 months later & I have 20 pages ready for the 1st test print down at Staples. It'll be nice all flip-spiral bound & laminated. Originally, I wanted a compiliation reference of all that my own guitar instructor provided me - only in one spot for myself. Since I love documentation & organizing things & my friends could use a little theory, I decided what the hell.
I've solidified a lot of my understanding of the underlying theory creating this intermediate reference guide. I have a few friends learning the guitar & believe it will help them immensely. I only wish I had one of these 25 years ago. My son will rely on it most though in his pursuits of teaching guitar.
I haven't made up my mind to mass produce & sell the lil' buggers yet. I'm sure I won't get rich quick but if I pushed 'em, they could help roll in a few tanks of gas I'm sure. As giving as I usually am with my other productions to you guys, I'll hold this one close until I can give the matter some thought. I will of course provide a few teaser photos so you can get an idea what I've actually done. If anyone is interested, it may entice me to open up to the marketplace.
More later... |
