So this has been driving me nuts for a long time. But it should be spelled "New Pedals Acquired" not aquired.

I feel better now... Thanks.

I just bought this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Boss-HF-2-Flanger-Effects-Pedal_W0QQitemZ7423689257QQihZ016QQcategoryZ621QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have been wanting to get a flanger for quite some time, and this seems to be the flanger of choice, plus I've been getting into octave up and treble boosts lately, so this seemed interesting. I think I might have paid a little higher than what someof these have gone for recently, but it looks in good condition, and with a box that I can sell to make back some of my losses... Just kidding, I'm referring to a box auction thread on the eBay forum.

Just picked a early DF-2 (labelled "Super Distortion and Feedbacker").

It's kinda sweet. A bit "harder" than my DS-1, and the feedback function is fun.

That feedback function is fun, I only wish that there was a control for a 100% wet feedback

You'll have lots of fun with the TW-1. One of my fav' Boss pedal so far.

If you don't get something reeeeeally fun from it, don't hesisate to check the inner trimpot. There's a compromise to be find, using this trimpot, and the 2 modes (Up and Down). One way, the Up mode sounds better, the other, it's the Down mode. I settled it so both modes sounded equally good. I spent times on this.

Yep !

But I have to say I play the bass, maybe on guitar the problem is not the same.

I later found on freeinfosociety the service note, explaining how to set this trimpot, but hey... I prefer to use my ears than my oscilloscope. And everyone does not have a scope...

The point is, when I received my TW-1, it really sounded like crap in Up mode. But the Down mode was woooonderful. So I checked the inside, and found the trimpot (internal little pot).

After some tweaking, I founded that when this pot is turned one side, the Down mode sounds better, and the pot turned the other way, the Up mode sounds better. So there is a compromise to be found, somewhere between this.

But that is maybe just me.

Just got a DSD-2. Seems cool.

By the way, if anyone has the manual, I'm interested...

Got an LM-2 the other day for €50.

Only has one tiny scratch, comes with box, manual and boss sticker, so not a bad deal I think

Still craving a VB-2...
