I'm new to the forum, and I'm new to delay pedals. I want some info/tips/advice from you guys. I picked up a DSD-2 today from a local mechanic for $20, and I later found out how great of a steal it was. I'ad appreciate any info that I can get from you guys, namely suggestions for use/settings. Thanks! |

Welcome!
One of our members (verivorax) has a fair bit of experience with this pedal - particularly using an external trigger. Hopefully he will see this and chime in |

| Are you after advice on how to use any delay pedal, or just the DSD2? |

PaulH, I would love any advice about DSD2 possible. Delay advice would be great too, but I don't have access to any other delay pedals, so mainly advice about the DSD2 would be great. Thanks |

Delay could be the best effect pedal ever. Though some will agree and some will not, a delay is the most popular effect in the world of pedals IMHO.
Have fun with your DSD-2! |

A simple one-clean-channel amp and any delay box can be the most versatile piece of kit you'll ever need.

The DSD-2 is a lot of fun.. for maximum flexibility, try using the sampler mode and triggering it externally from an old drum machine.. really interesting. |

The mechanic said that he was moving to all rack mounted digital effects, which is fine by me if it means that I get a good deal. Any suggestions on what kind of external drum machine that I can look for on ebay or at pawn shops? |
