I guess it's DC in only on this one?
Regards Dr. Bob
Actually... it's 110VAC in only on this one. I almost did a "DC in" mod when I was cleaning the disintegrated foam out of it - take the 110V cord off and put a DC jack in for en external 12VAC wall wart - but I opted to leave it original.

Very nice. I had a similar brick sized, AC powered distortion II back in the early 80s which is definitely on my 'why did I ever sell that?' list. It actually took the place of my OD-1 because of its much fatter sound. |

If I remember rightly - the Marshall Guv'nor is based on the Drivemaster

Actually, it's the other way round. This older model Guv'nor came out before the shredmaster, bluesbreaker and drivemaster series of pedals.

Silly me
But I'd like to add how much I rate the Shredmaster - unbelievably versatile! |

Does it have the effect loop jack that the original Guvnor had? A very good idea that IMHO. Quite fancy one of those if one appears anywhere. Stick a DD-3 or similar in the loop so that you get your drive and echo set up with one stomp.

Edit: The only thing i dont like about this Space C, is the fact that i have to put it side ways, due to where the Daisy chain goes in!!
how much did you pay for the DC-2 beh clone? too bad it's not available yet in our country.
wanted to have a DC-2 so much but cant seem to find one, if stocks would be available i would be willing to buy one. |

The Beh Clones are quite common on eBay Australia as new items, although I'm not sure how many sellers ship to the Philippines. I think the DC-2 clone goes for about AU$50-60 nowadays. I have a DC-2 BehClone I will be selling soon (as I have a real DC-2 now and don't need it anymore) - PM me if your interested.
Generally speaking the "Dimension" chorus effects (DC-2, DC-3 and their BehClones) are quite nice, maybe a little more subtle than your normal chorus (and they tend to detune less). I'd highly recommend you get one if you are able to.
Boss DC-2's have been selling for $300+ recently - it's crazy! Mine is very beat up but works perfectly (see my avatar) and it only cost me AU$165... |

T-Rex Dr Swamp, nice dist with two "channels", second hand for under half the price of a new unit. Really good sustain in this one, perfect with humbuckers. |

Built a BYOC Large Beaver a couple of weeks ago which is loads better than the current EH Big Muff, and is half the size which opens some room on the pedalboard.
Also waiting for an Analogman Sunface BC108 which should arrive in the next 2-3 days, i'm soooo excited. |

| I paid $50 Australian for my Beh DC2 clone, I bought it new at a store called Cranbourne music, here in Melbourne. I had to order it in because so many people want them! I love it, it absolutley slaughters my CE3. The CE3 is under my bed in its box now. |

HOLY COW. I've never heard a distortion pedal so smooth. No nasty harmonics, just tone. Sounds amazing with minor chords.

Glad it sounds good, I've just finished building the circuit for a MXR D+ clone. The schematic I used is supposedly for a '77 model: Do you know what year yours is from? Also, can you identify the type of clipping diodes used? I can't work it out from the (great) picture above. Thanks in advance. |
