| Personally I'm a bit dissappointed by the July news. The volume pedals are probably just the old pedals in a new enclosure and I had hoped for at least one new compact pedal. The only new thing is really the RT-20 but I'm not very hot on modelling devices so probably give it a miss. |

| It's a sad thing that this is the first year without a new compact pedal since Boss began producing them. |

It appears that in 1992 Boss did not debut any new compacts, just new M series multi-effects, the ME-6 / ME-10 / ME-5B and the Micro Rack Pro series ( SE-50, CL-50, eq, noise gate, etc. ).
FYI - there is an error in the Boss Book on the CEB-3 listing on page 14, the chart on page 48 and in the release date section on bossarea in the listing for the CEB-3 - the book says it started shipping in February 1992, but it appears elsewhere listing the correct year of introduction, 1995. Ref. pages 66 & 93.
But all in all, not many years have passed without a new compact! |

Thanks for pointing that out, Phenry. I used 1992 as the release date but I will correct that. |

It would be great if the Boss Book v.2 came out. With revisions and corrections on the dates. Maybe even a more comprehensive look at some of the classics. Until then, I guess with all the information sharing here, we can outdo the book anyway. |
