Do any other DC-2 owners think that their DC-2 slightly cuts the bass end from the guitar signal? If not then maybe I'm looking at replacing some capacitors or other parts that may be getting tired and out of spec.

Quite different from my recent arrival on another similar forum.
I only called myself Old Feller because I was feeling old and, when I went to sign up to the forum I hadn't planned in advance what I was going to call myself.
It is very well possible that you hear a bass-cut when switching on the DC-2. I am a bass-player and when I switch on the DC-2 (in a band-setting) it is like switching off by bass. The DC-2 EATS low-notes (which is unfortunately as I really like the sounds it makes).
