Interestingly, my ML-2 is the one pedal that never "comes out to play"... just can't get into it.

Horses for courses....

Thats because you have not played power metal so much. Of course you dont have it in your setlist on tour (power metal songs)? Regards faltarn

I like ML-2 a lot and I never play any form of metal, it is a great noise-machine. I used Big Muff and silicon fuzzes a lot before ML-2 entered the market, but ML-2 is much better for the noises I like to make now.

My favourite compact must be SD-2 tightly followed by DC-3. But the most used is DD-2.

I got a new mobile phone yesterday and promptly set about making myself a nice background picture (wallpaper) for it. Obviously it had to have a Boss pedal in it but which one? I eventually settled on the DS-1. I'm not sure whether it really is my favorite or if it's more like a current favorite. If I think about it long enough I might change my mind.

Hi Bossarea

Very cool,
perhaps you could make a few more, & rotate them from week to week, or month.
The Orange on Blue is a great combination.

What about a CE-2 or your New DD-7?

Which mobile did you get?

Regards Dr. Bob

I might just do that. Was also thinking about making something with miniature pictures and put a lot of pedals in the picture. Guess I will also have to record myself some new ringtones. I've used a Steve Vai sample for the last 5 years and my workmates are pretty tired of it
I got the HTC TyTn II. It's probably got at least a 100 functions I'd never use but so far I like it.

My favorite used to be my stock MT-2. It's now my lovepedal modded SD-1. Followed closely by my DM-2.

My favourite compact is definitely the CE-2: think it's THE definitive chorus pedal. I've owned many different chorus pedals over the years, but nothing else sounds good at literally EVERY setting. It doesn't matter where you set the rate and depth controls, you always get a great sound (even with depth fully off, it gives a nice presence/upper mid boost). Most other chorus pedals require you to spend a while dialing in the settings to find the sweet spot, and only have one or two usable sounds within.

Second is the FT-2: There don't seem to be many envelope filters on the market that also allow an expression pedal to be used as a pedal wah - Certainly not for 40...
