I recently bought a Boss RC 20XL loop station and I am satisfied with everything except one thing that has been bugging me. The pedal has 11 spaces you can record phrases for looping, and for some reason when I write a phrase on 3, it will also write it to 4, and if I delete either, it deletes the other. The same thing happens with numbers 5 and 6. But not any other numbers. So basically I only have 9 spaces to work with instead of 11. Please help anyone? I have been to multiple forums and no one has been able to help.

Hi w921020

Welcome to the forum from Australia.

I don't believe that too many active members here have the RC-20XL - although one was on order by one of the members,
I think it was View Mr Arkadin.
Actually I think it was the RC-50 that Mr Arkadin ordered.

* Have you tried to go test out this problem, on another demo unit at any of your local music shops?

* Have you contacted Roland/Boss directly?
* Perhaps there is a time/sample limit, on each memory location?
* Perhaps you have a faulty unit?

Regards Dr. Bob
