I'm just wondering if I wud buy the GE-7 or the GEB-7 for my Guitar effects rig (I'm not a bassist but a guitarist). Coz I noticed that the GE-7 range is 100hz to 6.4khz on the other hand the GEB-7 has a range of 64hz to 10khz. Kinda wide range of frequency there. Any suggestions wud be greatly appreciated. It is a tricky question. The GEB-7 has a wider frequency spectrum but that means you may have less control over some of the center frequencies compared to the GE-7.
There's a great picture in the GEB-7 manual (http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manual.asp?Letter=G) where you can see the bandwidth of each slider. Unfortunately the GE-7 manual doesn't have a corresponding picture but it still says a bit about which frequencies you can control and which you can't.
