I haven't seen it anywhere yet. A Roland employee told me he'd e-mail as soon as they come in and I haven't heard anything from him yet (he could have forgot though). The same guy told me that the retail price would be 149 so 125 sounds like a decent deal.
A few of the web shops have started advertising it already but I don't think they can deliver. I preordered the AC-3 from one of these shops (gak) and will not do that mistake again. When I eventually got it the local stores had been selling it for a month.
Can anyone let me know simply how the pedal will work....
How does it loop/record your guitar sound? do you run it through your effects loop? (if you want amp distortion looped?)
I am keen to find a pedal that I can play amp distortion into a looper, then to loop the riff whilst channel switching to my boss od3 pedals etc for playing lead over.
Is this going to be possible?
Do loopers go at the end of an effects chain on a single channel amp?
Help! (PS this pedal looks as if it is going to be fun!)
Loop pedals should either go last in your effect loop, or last in your chain. I don't use an EFX loop, but all my distortion/OD comes from my pedalboard. Either way, rule of thumb is that they are the last effect. Period.
You will be able to do all those things you listed above. I recommend either purchasing the FS-5U to go along with it, or just purchasing the RC-20xl, which I have.
Sweetwater.com does have it IN STOCK and they offer free shipping.
