hi everyone
just got a few pedals and am not sure of the order they sure go in, in the effects loop of my amp. i have a peavey 5150 and a schecter blackjack. i run an jd wah-digitech whammy-ac2-ge7-dd3-ce5 and a dd6 through the effects loop. im also wanting to add an tu2 and a reverb pedal to this. is this too many pedals to run? what order should they be in and does it matter if i go to the wah first from the send or return output first? so many questions, hope someone can give me there opinion.

I like to put modulation effects like Flanger, Phaser, Chorus and Delay in the effects loop and keep effects like Wah, compression and distortion between the guitar and amp.

There's no rule to it so you may find excellent settings doing the opposite of what everyone is telling you.

Like what Bossarea said.

Usually people put Delays and Reverbs at the end.
Experiment with placement and see how you feel like.
Just wondering: Were you thinking of using all these pedals at once?

Again many people do different things with regards to that, I myself do not use too many at a time. Your sounds tend to water down, but again, it all depends on what you are going for at that very moment.

Keep changing the placement of your effects in the chain to discover new things.

Very often I will not particular effects for a long time, and then when you come back to them it feels so fresh again.

I like to run a flanger, noise gate, enhancer, delay and chorus through my effects loop. that way I get the most out of my pedals.

thanks for your help gents,
will try out a few different ideas and see which one i like most. also forgot theres a talk box to go in that link somewhere too. but i think ill probably only have a chorus and reverb on all the time. might even take one of the delays out.
