Got me a SYB-3 to fool around with, only problem is that it stops tracking and give me the same note no matter what note I play. Sometimes this happens after a minute sometimes immediately sometimes after say 5 minutes. When I unplug the power cord and plug it in again, it works properly again but only for a certain amount of time.
It detects WHEN I hit the note but not WHAT note I play and give me the last note over and over again. When this happens the saw modes(1,4,5 and 7) give no sound at all, when I dial the mode knob.
Anyone here who knows more about this problem ?

Wow, what a strange problem. Sounds like it's pretty screwed up though :C |

Hi sp-1
Apologies if this sounds like a dumb question. But does this happen with both a Power adapter, & a known good 9V battery?
Did anything out of the usual, happen to it, since you used it last?
Regards Dr. Bob

Happened also with the battery and it was the first time I used it, bought it on ebay so I have no reference. Maybe it has to reset or initialyze itself, any thoughts on what components do that in a pedal ? |
